The Brittas and District Community Association has learned that it is unlikely that funding for the upgrade of the N81 will be made available in the near future and that the upgrade is likely to only be a dual carraige way as far as the Embankment. Past the Embankment, heading for Hollywood Cross, through Brittas the new road is likely to be single lane traffic only.
